Dust Motes - Jade Fascinio Violeta

A lovely jelly holo polish for today - this is Jade Fascinio Violeta.

[Bottle to nail: Jade Fascinio Violeta (2 coats)]
Jade Fascinio Violeta looks like a slightly dusty purple due to the jelly finish and holographic particles. The flame is linear but with small-to-medium size particles.

[2 coats: Jade Fascinio Violeta]
I thought it would need a couple of coats for opacity but these pics are all two coats. The squishy finish looks awesome! It applies very evenly and dries to a very smooth surface. You could skip the topcoat if you wanted!

[2 coats: Jade Fascinio Violeta]
Indoors, the holo is more muted but under bright light or sunlight, the holo flame is super obvious. Overall, I really like the finish and formula of Jade holographics!

Double Rainbow - Orly, China Glaze, Elianto, Mode, Fing'rs

It's time for a rainbow parttttyyyyyyyyy~

[Orange: Orly Orange Punch
Yellow: China Glaze Yell-O-Neil
Green: Elianto S02
Blue: Mode Hook Me Up
Purple: Fing'rs Edge Ombre's second lightest purple]
I used the sponge technique for this one, where you paint all the colours in stripes on a sponge and then sponge it on. The colours I used are as listed above.

I love gradients and I love having a rainbow gradient. Easy, fun and pretty! I got heaps of compliments on this. :)

Fiery Glam - Emily de Moly A Beautiful Mistake, Color Club Gingerbread

There's nothing quite so old-school attention-catching as bright red nails. Even more so when it comes with generous helpings of glitter and holographic goodness!

[Bottle to nail: Emily de Molly A Beautiful Mistake (2 coats)]
This here is A Beautiful Mistake from Emily de Molly. A gorgeous red jelly packed with different sizes of red holographic hexes. The holo doesn't show as clearly as I would like but you do get glimpses of it depending on the angle and lighting.

[2 coats: Emily de Molly A Beautiful Mistake]
Formula was good an the glitter spread evenly. I think this was two coats.

[Base: Emily de Molly A Beautiful Mistake (2 coats); Tips: Color Club Gingerbread]
Being the magpie that I am, I couldn't help adding a bit of glitter to the tips. This is Color Club Gingerbread, a gold and holo glitter combination. I dabbed it on to make a mini glitter gradient. A very bright and festive combination!

Bottle Glass - Orly Meet Me Under The Mistletoe

Here's a swatch for one of my pressies!

The second one from the left is the polish I swatched.

[Orly Meet Me Under The Mistletoe]
This is Orly Meet Me Under The Mistletoe. It's a gorgeous deep green with blue-greeny small flecks. I would say this is a great addition to a Christmas collection. I like that it's opaque within two to three coats, but still jelly enough to be squishy.

Mink Sparkle - Nubar Jewel

Here's a polish I picked up a long time ago but for some reason didn't get around to using till last week!

[Bottle to nail: Nubar Jewel (2 coats)]
This is Nubar Jewel from the Prism collection way back in 2010, I think it was. Jewel is a grey-ish brown shimmer base generously filled with medium-sized holo glitter.

[2 coats: Nubar Jewel]
The glitter is very slightly muted by the base but is still extremely blingy in the right lighting. This one is two coats but may possibly need three for longer nails. Topcoat is a must! This dries a bit bumpy due to the larger particle size of the holo glitter. The glitter does spread across the nail really nice and evenly though!

[2 coats: Nubar Jewel]
The base shimmer actually has a slight pink-brown shift, but it doesn't appear obviously in my photos, unfortunately. All in all, another somewhat worksafe holo option!

Summer Splash - elianto unknown, Glam Polish Twister

It's time for some bright fun colours, wheeeeeeee~

[Glitter: Glam Polish Twister
Base: elianto unknown]
I love Glam Polish Twister. Layering the neon matte glitter over a blue base makes the bright blue glitter of Twister blends in a little, but I think it just adds to the depth of the blue colour. I really love this look. It's predominantly a blue mani, but with splashes of neon colours to brighten it up. I'm going to experiment with Twister against more bases of different colours!
